NFPA 79 Compliant Repairs and Services

Most people know that their property must adhere to the National Electric Code, the California Electrical Code, and plenty of other guidelines and regulations. However, many commercial and industrial properties may also be subject to a separate set of guidelines detailed in NFPA 79—a set of rules in place to ensure fire safety for commercial and industrial-scale equipment. Keeping your business complaint with these codes and regulations is critical for not only safe operation each and every day, but so your operation remains legal and you don’t have to sacrifice time and resources correcting and violations should your business be subjected to a surprise inspection. CORElectric, Inc. has over 30 years of experience working to follow NFPA 79 codes, so your commercial space is up-to-date and safe for employees and clientele.

Your Questions About Manufacturing

Q)  Can CORElectric, Inc. help us figure out our facility electrical needs for some new production equipment even though we don’t have an electrical plan?

A)  Absolutely.  The primary focus of CORElectric, Inc.'s work is Design-Build, in which it uses 40 years of prime hands-on experience to find the best solutions in terms of time, budget, process, or all combined.

Q)  We just purchased a new production line of foreign manufacture that’s not certified in the United States and has no U.L. labeling.  Will we be able to get this new equipment permitted?

A)  CORElectric, Inc. regularly consults with its Clients during the pre-purchase of manufacturing equipment. Dealing with the proper U.S. certification(s) before the sale is much easier than after the fact.  If the foreign equipment has been delivered to you, it’s likely a field certification with have to take place as necessary to obtain a permit and approval from your City or County jurisdiction.  CORElectric, Inc. can provide you with a turnkey solution that will limit the company’s liability and gain the necessary approval(s) for equipment operation.

Q)  Our company is 20 years old and growing, so we need to relocate to a larger building.  When looking at larger facilities, how can we know if there will be enough power to run our expansion?

A)  Please contact CORElectric, Inc. so we can offer you a consultation, where our real electricians will inspect any potential building for current and/or future power aptitude before you commit to a purchase or lease.

Q)  We’re moving our production organization to another location. Some of our machinery is very old, and we’ve heard that it might not comply with current standards that could preclude permit approval at the new location.  What should we do?

A)  At CORElectric, Inc. we recommend that all such relocations be considered for the purpose of the existing operation and its impact on a successful move.  We can help you identify the potential issues before they become show stoppers at the new location.  Please contact CORElectric, Inc. for a consultation.

Q)  How do I know that CORElectric, Inc. will provide a quality service and stand behind it?

A)  There are no salespeople at CORElectric, Inc..  From ownership to management to craftspeople, all in the field are real electricians.  All CORElectric, Inc. work is guaranteed by trade professionals, and warranted by committed, longtime ownership.
