Blue Cloud Ranch

The 250 acre Blue Cloud Ranch operated entirely without utility power for well over 20 years, providing an expanse of filming opportunity for everything from TV commercials to major motion pictures since it’s formation in 2001.  During this time, the necessary daily need for power came from portable generators wrought with staff management, fuel consumption, and maintenance.  In 2024, CORElectric, Inc. was contacted by the Ranch to complete a design for and install a new 1,600 amp 480 volt electrical service.  From final concept to completion, the turnkey installation happened in just 4 months…..including a custom switchboard and all new power distribution equipment approved for the utility to energize!
